Description

Job Description: Managing all finance activities including the provision of billing, collections, accounts payable, management/statutory reporting, annual audits, taxation services, cash management and bank reconciliations within an effective compliance and standards framework. Overseeing the production of monthly management accounts and the annual audit process. Ensuring that accurate planning, forecasting, reporting, accounting and control systems are in place. Ensuring adherence to relevant policies and procedures from a risk/compliance point of view Constantly seeking opportunities for continuous improvement/implementation of best practices to improve performance. Managing a team of finance staff, providing them with leadership and direction, Other ad hoc duties as required. Requirements: Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) Minimum of 4 years experience working for a travel agency. Previous retail or ideally Travel agency finance experience is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to operate in a management capacity Ability to develop good relationships with key stakeholders inside and outside the business Proven analytical and numerical capability Strong reporting and written communication skills Ability to demonstrate leadership and develop a team
