Description

Coordination, maintenance and running of the laundry in a proper manner; Ensuring that personal clothing is properly cleaned/ironed and returned to the rightful owner; Ensuring that work coveralls are properly cleaned and stored in an organized manner; Ensuring that company property is properly cleaned/repaired and stored; Ensuring that cleaning and maintenance of laundry is done in a proper and efficient manner; Ensuring equipment is maintained and inform Head steward/Catering Manager of any deficiencies; Assisting with storing provisions whenever required; Assisting in any other catering duties when required; Ensuring work instructions issued by the Head steward or Catering Manager are adhered to; Further tasks as described in the Marine Safety Manual – section 3. Job Requirements: Experience in laundry; Able to work as a team member; and must have ability to speak and understand basic English. • STCW-95 Basic Training • Valid Passport • Transportation Worker Identification Credential • Safe Gulf / Rig Pass Training • HUET Please state in application if you don\'t have any of the above requirements.
