Description

Position Overview • Successful candidate shall be well-versed in multi disciplinary engineering coordination and supervision. • Will be based in Beirut and perform out-sourced project work from our Head office in Riyadh. • Manage the Beirut office. • Should have good contacts in the local construction industry and engineering professionals in order to procure part-time and independent engineers when required to handle fast-paced projects. Essential Job Functions • Technical coordination with all engineering disciplines (Architectural, Civil & Structural, Electrical & Telecommunication, and Mechanical). • Technical supervision of all projects of the company. Provide technical advice on all projects. • Study RFPs and prepare technical proposal. Advice management in preparation/ formulation of commercial proposal. • Meet with the Clients and clarify technical queries of the clients, suggest alternatives, provide solutions, etc. and coordinate back with the project team. • Meet potential clients for business development. Represent the company’s technical/ project development abilities in a good spirit. Requirements • An architect with a minimum Bachelor’s degree in the discipline from a reputable university. • The incumbent shall have a minimum of 12 to 16 years of experience in multi-disciplinary architectural and engineering coordination and supervision works on residential and commercial projects. • Ability to self-design is much preferable. Other Skills/Abilities • Knowledge of Saudi Arabian Standards, Codes and municipal and other governmental rules and regulations related to the construction industry is preferred. • Should be able to work with MS Excel and relevant Engineering Software. • Previous experience in managing a technical office independently will be an added advantage.
