My client is a leading multi national FM provider operating in 40 countries, with over 29,000 employees, they offer tailor made service solutions for those working in extreme conditions on off shore locations. Specializing in FM across Asia, Australia and the Middle East you will be looking after a $50 million operation in the United Arab Emirates, providing services to remote sites segments with local and international clients. Your responsibilities will include development strategy, plan execution, achieve economic objectives, define objectives for the management team and delegate to the head of the chosen department. You will need to monitor and contribute to business development and identify commercial opportunities aswell as maintain good relations with current clients. You must also ensure company standards are met in Hygiene, Health and Safety. Follow up recruitment, training activities and monitor relationships with local authorities to insure compliance with local rules. To be successful you will need a degree in management with 10 years proven experience in a service industry. Ideally you will have experience managing a company with over 500 staff and / or turnover of $40 Million. You must be fluent and at ease with english, however knowledge of arabic is a strong plus.You must have excellent knowledge and analysis skills of figures and have the ability to easily construct P&L models for small to large projects aswell as a pool of linked projects. You will have knowledge of the Oil and Gas and Petrochemical industries and handling supply chain functions. Experience or knowledge of the Middle East will be an added advantage.
