-Maintain a cheerful, courteous, neat, clean and professional image.
-Function as information center by demonstrating knowledge of product, service system, hours of operation, large party procedures, special events, application procedures, directions and local area information.
-Perform greeting function competently. Plans strategy for keeping dining room full. Distributes seating effectively with customers satisfaction as a priority.
-Greet guests upon entering the restaurant and assists customers while on a waiting list.
-Escort customers as soon as possible to appropriate table.
-Forecast waiting time accurately. Uses proper calling techniques.
-Arrange for a booth seat or high chair, as needed.
-Attend shift meetings on time.
-Notify manager of any guest that is perceived to be dissatisfied.
-Keep host/hostess station clean and organized. Ensures all menus are clean. Restocks necessary supplies and brings all areas up to standard. |
