Description

Php Web developer needed for diwanee group , an ecommerce firm located in ashrafieh beirut. Accountabilities/Requirements • A very firm understanding of how CSS is supposed to be used • Ensure code and design meets specifications, quality and security standards, and is maintainable & sometimes scalable. • Work in collaboration with project teams to meet business goals • Contribute to solution development, brainstorming and site documentation • Development of standards compliant code — HTML, XHTML, CSS, AJAX, Java Script. • Able to develop powerful, secured and manageable websites based on PHP and Drupal CMS (is a plus). • Evaluate and debug code to ensure cross-browser compatibility and accessibility in unfamiliar code • Production for ongoing site maintenance and content updates • Deliver creative development solutions within existing constraints and limitations • Accountable for accuracy, project deadlines, and contributing to project completion • Convey expert knowledge of current web trends, user experience and the project process • Manage several concurrent assignments efficiently. • Be willing to go the extra mile to get the job done, including occasional overtime. • Good levels of communication. Both written and verbal • Creativity and ability to learn and solve problems quickly in a fast-paced environment • Information Architecture (IA) and User Experience (UX- includes Accessibility & Usability) BA, MA in computer sciences or related fields A minimum of 0-2 years experience • Social Media • SEO/SEM (Search Engine Optimization, Search Engine Marketing) & Analytics • Online & Viral Marketing • Mobile Web Development • Proficiency in PHP, MySQL development • Experience in developing database-driven websites with PHP 5. • Experience building large-scale web applications and infrastructure • Experience with web front-end development: W3C Compliant XHTML, CSS, JavaScript and libraries such as JQuery
