We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to join their expanding team in Iraq. The right candidate will have proven experience in a similar position preferably in the transportation/ shipping industry
Interviews to be held March 2011 in Iraq

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE
This position reports to the Cluster General Manager Sales and has a minimum of 2 direct reports
The ideal candidate will be a person who has strong business, market & customer understanding. A person with experience in general management - and sales management specifically. An individual, whos decisive, has a sense of urgency and result orientation thereby delivering objectives and increasing sales & yield performance. A leader that inspire, motivate, coach, communicate & collaborate - thereby driving the necessary changes in both process, organization and customer satisfaction
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Accountable for volume and yield performance
Discuss and agree to volume and yield budgets
Define sales strategy & commercial priorities for country
Ensure sales effectiveness & efficiency
Review & coach for top sales performance
Sales channel management & optimization
Customer satisfaction & loyalty
Track & analyze market development
Set the targets, Ensure support, Identify and coach talent, Delegate and empower
Follow through, Conflict management, Enable the organisation to act, Cost consciousness, Standardise and innovate processes, Leadership, Realise opportunities, Manage the change process

ESSENTIAL JOB TASKS
Sales Pipeline management & forecasting
Ensure that local Price Coordination is well managed
Implement, run and improve incentive programs
Management of local cost of sales
Resource selection, development & succession
Revenue & yield opportunity reviews
Increase customer Satisfaction & loyalty

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 5 years General & Sales Management experience preferably within transportation industry
Demonstrated results performance, leadership and organizational wise
Experienced working in various markets / countries
