Senior Manager Revenue Assurance Location : Afghanistan MISSION Be the eyes and ears of the company in Revenue collection and losses if any, Analyze opportunities for loss and fraud across the entire scope of the business and work proactively within the organization to design and implement loss control and fraud prevention and detection programs. Manage lost business/revenue risks to the company overall by leading and coordinating enterprise wide business continuity planning efforts MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES • Recommend fraud prevention processes and system enhancements based on trends and patterns. • Provide leadership, direction and consultation in the protection of assets, avoidance of financial loss and prevention of fraud throughout the company. • Continuously work to understand and mitigate losses to ensure the highest levels of loss avoidance and reduction. Maintain in-depth understanding of industry trends relative to risk and loss avoidance. Promotes Quality Assurance for all processes impacting operations. • Develop the company’s business continuity planning approach, design tools and process and lead business continuity planning team to minimize business disruption and lost revenue due to natural disaster, sabotage, network crashes and downtime, acts of terror, etc. Continually review and update plans as changing conditions warrant and the business grows. Conduct period exercises to test plans and modify as needed. • Partner with Sales, Product, IT/Technology, Operations, Legal, and Finance teams to design, develop, and implement best practices to assess, manage, and prevent fraud. • Frequently validate accuracy of reporting and data used to create fraud policies and strategies • Monitor and block unauthorized routing of calls to avoid revenue loss • Establish bilateral agreements with other carriers on cooperation against SIM Boxing • Perform regular reconciliation and analysis of revenue streams. • Documents revenue flows across critical function and monitors the same. • Perform quality assurance testing on key processes and systems changes which impact the recording, processing and billing of revenue producing events. • Monitor bill payment/collection and fraud if any by multiple checks and balances in the system. • Reports to the Director, Finance and responsible for a team of five. EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION • BS degree in Computer Science • P.G Degree in Business Management preferred. • Certification/Diploma in A/C /Finance Management. • Familiarity with Alcatel Prepaid Platform, Alcatel SMSC, and core network equipments. • Experience in revenue assurance and fraud management, prevention and operations in Telecommunications environment • Solid qualitative and analytical skills. • Ability to effectively influence and communicate cross-functionally with all levels.
